About the role
- Ideal candidate would have superb customer service skills and would be highly motivated and flexible to changing tasks.
- The Radiology Technical Aide may be assigned to work in a variety of imaging sections, assist multiple radiology modalities and/or clinical services per operational needs.
Responsibilities
- The Radiology Technical Aide performs a wide variety of routine duties including clerical, non-technical and patient related functions.
- Transport patients to and from all areas in the Department of Radiology, monitor patient support devices and provide overall patient care.
Requirements
- Physical ability to lift and position patients and assist with patient transfers utilizing beds, wheelchairs or stretchers.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects and meets objectives and deadlines
- shift could be 11:30a-8p or 1:30p-10p)-- This position covers 5 sites---Abington, Lansdale, Warminster, Blue Bell, North Willow Grove-must be able to cover at all sites.

- Physical Demands
- Lift and carry 40-50 lbs.
- Examples: Push/pull patients on bed, stretcher (requires 29 lbs. push force), lateral transfers up to 50 lbs. of the patient's weight.
- Frequent to continuous standing/walking.
- Patient transporters can walk 8-10 miles per shift. *Patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.

- $40k-$50k
