- Humanitarian Support Worker (DRE WEX Position) - VOAWW (Volunteers of America Western Washington)
- Maintain and organize client files and recovery documentation
- Support administrative functions of disaster recovery operations
- Provide disaster care coordination support to affected individuals and families
- Develop individualized recovery plans in collaboration with clients
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with program standards
- Collaborate with local agencies, nonprofit organizations, and government partners
- Career Team is looking to hire a Humanitarian Support Worker who will provide humanitarian assistance and recovery support services to disaster-impacted individuals and families within the declared disaster area.
- Work is designed to address humanitarian impacts of the declared disaster through direct client services, community outreach, and coordination of recovery resources.
Requirements
- Ability to work with individuals experiencing trauma and stress
- Proficiency with computer applications and database systems
- The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at VOAWW (Volunteers of America Western Washington).
Nice to have
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate's degree preferred
- Bilingual capabilities preferred (English/Spanish or other community languages)
Compensation
- $23.06-$31.47 per hour
