  • Humanitarian Support Worker (DRE WEX Position) - VOAWW (Volunteers of America Western Washington)
  • Maintain and organize client files and recovery documentation
  • Support administrative functions of disaster recovery operations
  • Provide disaster care coordination support to affected individuals and families
  • Develop individualized recovery plans in collaboration with clients
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with program standards
  • Collaborate with local agencies, nonprofit organizations, and government partners
  • Career Team is looking to hire a Humanitarian Support Worker who will provide humanitarian assistance and recovery support services to disaster-impacted individuals and families within the declared disaster area.
  • Work is designed to address humanitarian impacts of the declared disaster through direct client services, community outreach, and coordination of recovery resources.

Requirements

  • Ability to work with individuals experiencing trauma and stress
  • Proficiency with computer applications and database systems
  • The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at VOAWW (Volunteers of America Western Washington).

Nice to have

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate's degree preferred
  • Bilingual capabilities preferred (English/Spanish or other community languages)

Compensation

  • $23.06-$31.47 per hour
