About the role
- The Institutional Engagement Liaison (IEL) assists the Vice President for Community and
- The IEL will assist the VPCGI with organizing current programming such as state and/or federally recognized observances, Kindred Spirits luncheons, and global experiences and exchanges throughout the Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters.
- Specific Job Duties (Essential Functions and Responsibilities):
Responsibilities
- Organize and support OCGI campus events and programming
- Collaborate with campus and community partners and stakeholders to support and integrate OCGI initiatives for greater reach and impact
- Support effective programs and services in compliance with federal and state regulations.
Requirements
- Experience working effectively and collaboratively with pluralistic faculty, staff and student populations

- A demonstrated commitment to bringing a people-centered/students-first perspective to ethical decision-making.
- A demonstrated commitment to supporting student retention efforts, especially for first year students.

- Agility in handling criticism effectively in high stress situations.
- Experience as a mediator and/or with conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to utilize institutional data to benchmark and promote accountability for initiatives and planning.
Compensation
- The salary for this position is $11,500/annually (8 hrs/week).
