About the role

Responsibilities

  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness in compliance with OSHA and safety policies.
  • Manage all warehouse duties including shipping, receiving of materials, stocking, and pulling products for shipment
  • Maintain appropriate employee documentation files.
  • Develop and promote internal employees and recruit new employees as needed.
  • Maintain confidential information pertaining to supervisory duties, operations, and contract information.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Ability to operate and become certified on forklifts, order pickers, cranes, and other typical warehouse material handling equipment.
  • Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of basic warehouse functions and procedures.
  • Individual must be able to perform the essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Adhere to required MRC Global Safety Training policies and guidelines, provid e safety training to warehouse personne l and e nsure safety measures are followed by all Warehouse personnel.
  • and all functions required for the pipe yard.
  • Any combination of requirements that provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform essential duties and responsibilities will be considered.
  • High School Diploma or GED (General Education Degree) and additional related training, and direct experience in a material a PVF or related material distribution operation.
  • Four (4) years' experience working in a warehouse or closely related environment.
  • Must have a current, valid driver's license and acceptable record at all times and the ability to travel as needed to MRC branches and customer locations upon request.
  • Demonstrated competence in the use of computers and software applications.

Nice to have

  • Must have the ability to provide documentation verifying legal work status.
  • Ability to read and speak the English language proficiently in order to communicate with others, understand and interpret safety instructions, and respond to inquiries.
  • Ability to understand and comply with MRC Global guidelines and expectations, to include Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest guidelines.
