About the role

  • This is a part-time event site-oriented production utility position that assists the Operations team and the LIVE·TEAM event managers in ensuring the proper planning and execution of the operations elements (staging, structures, scenic elements, etc.).
  • This position also works in the warehouse on the preparation and restoration of projects based on availability and need.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain gear and equipment in the warehouse for each event, including the regular maintenance of inventory and repairing equipment.
  • Execute production events, deliver equipment to events, and pack up equipment to return to warehouse.

Requirements

  • Ability to work on an event site in a safe manner, which includes taking instruction from more senior staff
  • Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and written
  • Ability to obtain forklift certification
  • Ability to obtain basic first aid certification
  • Ability to travel and work non-business (evening and weekend) hours as needed
  • Ability to fly on commercial airlines
  • Must be able to travel at least 60% of the time
  • Ability to interact in a professional manner with a variety of individuals from a wide range of business areas (i.e. executive-level clients, general public)
  • Must be able to regularly lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 pounds
  • Must be punctual

Nice to have

  • 2 years' experience in live event production or related fields (preferred)
  • Knowledge of inventory control systems (such as Flex) (preferred)
