About the role
- The immigration Legal assistant will also guide clients through the immigration process throughout the duration of their case.
- Working closely with the Attorney as part of the legal team, the immigration legal assistant is responsible for collaborating effectively with their team members to achieve the firm's and clients' goals while enhancing the client's experience.
Responsibilities
- Draft legal documents, including routine cover letters, affidavits, and questionnaires
- Engage and collaborate effectively with the team to discuss assigned cases or projects and create action plans to ensure successful case outcomes.
- Effectively manage workload to complete tasks on time, meeting company service standards, and escalate any blockers as needed.
- Collaborate with other members of the legal team to respond to complex client inquiries throughout the entire duration of the case.
Requirements
- Candidates should have the ability to communicate effectively, as well as using their hands for tasks such as typing or handling materials.
- Limited lifting may also be required.
