About the role
- Reviews the work of Appraisal Reviewers and other professional and nonprofessional staff;
- Reviews appraisals by the qualitative analysis of appraisal reports, personal inspection of property appraised, check of the factual and supporting data set forth in the comparable sales analysis, and an inspection of all comparable sales;
- Confers with appraisers on appraisals that may be lacking in any essential respect or element, and makes recommendations as to additional or supplemental appraisals to be made;

Requirements
- At the time of appointment and throughout employment, the employee must be certified by New York State as a General Real Estate Appraiser.
