About the role

  • They will report to the MD, Legal Entity Controller.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the accounting team to understand financial trends (actuals vs. budget), perform variance analysis, and handle other financial reporting projects.
  • Lead and mentor a team of three FP&A professionals, encouraging professional development and a strong team culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or related discipline
  • 15+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 7-10 years in FP&A leadership roles.
  • Deep experience in the financial services industry with expertise in asset management
  • Proven track record of partnering with senior executives and influencing strategic decisions.
  • The role requires a strong combination of critical thinking, analytical expertise, leadership skills, and deep knowledge of private credit and asset management dynamics.
  • Our ideal candidate is independent, motivated, detail-orientated, and able to analyze data and convey results effectively.
  • Improve and update procedures, tools, and systems as required by business growth.

Nice to have

  • CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred

Skills

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey insights to executive and Board-level stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail, proactive and willing to analyze additional layers of information needed to master subject area at hand
  • Experience using financial modeling software, such as OneStream, preferred but not required.
  • Excellent analytical, project management, communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills.

Compensation

  • $220,000 - $260,000
  • Manage the annual budget and long-term financial strategy, including presentations at annual board meetings.
