About the role
- The Operations Manager is responsible for leading end-to-end production operations within the CVG Seats Division in Vonore, TN.
- The position provides direct leadership to front-line supervisors and indirect leadership to a workforce of 200+ hourly employees in a plant.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily manufacturing operations across all assigned production lines.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity and waste reduction.
- Directly manage Production Supervisors and Team Leaders.
- Lead Lean manufacturing initiatives including 5S and Kaizen.
- Collaborate cross- functionally with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Maintenance.
- This role will partner with the other Operations Manager both reporting to the Plant Manager.
Requirements
- B achelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years production operations leadership experience (with salaried direct reports)
- 10 + years manufacturing experience
