About the role
- Shaw Contract is growing in Illinois and hiring an Account Executive to lead business development and sales across the Northern and Northwestern IL markets.
- This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives on building relationships, generating new business, teamwork, and managing a territory with a high degree of autonomy.
- You'll work with flooring contractors, end users, and industry partners to deliver flooring solutions from initial opportunity through project completion while building a strong, consistent pipeline of new business.
Responsibilities
- Drive new business through prospecting, networking, and lead follow-up
- Build and maintain relationships with flooring contractors, end users, and key stakeholders
- Manage projects from opportunity through order, delivery, and installation
- Travel daily within the territory to develop and grow accounts
- Utilize Salesforce CRM and structured sales processes (SPPM) to manage pipeline and opportunities
- Proven ability to prospect, build pipeline, and close new business
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Build Trusting Relationships
- Deliver Compelling Communication
Requirements
- Required Competencies:

- Bachelor's degree
- Commercial interiors sales experience
