  • You will execute on larger strategic projects; equipment/process qualifications, systems/process integration, multi-site initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee manufacturing processes to maintain and improve product and process quality.
  • Participate in projects to optimize and improve existing materials, products, processes and/or procedures.
  • Lead problem solving activities for complex issues that involve the process and associated equipment. Utilizes Structured Problem Solving (SPS) and Process Control System (PCS) methodologies to resolve complex issues and reduce process variation.
  • Aid in technology transfers to meet production requirements. Documentation, training and guiding plant engineering and manufacturing team members. Develops and implements best practices.
  • Must maintain high safety requirements including meeting local consensus safety standards.
  • Analytical/Critical Thinking - Ability to analyze data to identify root causes, develops strategies for routine issues, recommends process improvements, and evaluates solutions with flexibility and critical thinking.
  • Building Relationships - Recognizes others meaningfully and frequently, uses feedback to build confidence and respect, adapts communication to workplace styles, and actively participates in team-building activities.
  • Communication - Communicates using empathy, influence, and an adaptive approach to accurately and persuasively create dialogue.
  • Data Analysis - Independently designs and conducts data analysis using advanced techniques to identify trends, anticipate risks, and influence stakeholders through data visualization/storytelling.
  • Project Management - Leads projects through all phases, from initiation to closing, by defining scope, planning resources, managing teams, ensuring effective communication, and documenting progress and results.

Requirements

  • Must be willing to work on production floor for extended periods.
  • Must be able to work with a diverse variety of teammates with different cultures and backgrounds.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in Ceramics, Chemical or Materials Engineering preferred, or related engineering discipline
  • 3+ years manufacturing engineering experience.
  • Experience in screen printing and metallization processes, or relevant project experience preferred.

  • Independently operates common technology platforms (e.g., InfinityQS, SPC, Service Center, Analytical Lab, etc.), and uses job aids and help documentation to resolve issues.

Compensation

  • USD 92,000.00 - USD 121,440.00
