About the role
- Carnegie Mellon University's School of Drama is seeking applicants for a full-time, fixed-term Lighting Technician.
- The position will begin in late August 2024, and end 31 May 2025.
- This is a dynamic opportunity for someone who thrives in a creative and fast-paced work environment.
Requirements
- Experience as head lighting technician on at least three theatrical productions
- Knowledge of and experience in maintaining entertainment lighting equipment, including automated lighting fixtures
- Experience with electrical wiring and soldering techniques
- Two years' experience as a lighting technician in the entertainment industry
- A combination of education and relevant experience from which comparable knowledge is demonstrated may be considered.
Nice to have
- Experience programming theatrical lighting control consoles (ETC Eos Family preferred)
