About the role

  • The role oversees the infrastructure and platforms that applications and business operations depend on.
  • The position is responsible for daily service delivery, team performance, incident escalation, projects, documentation, operational readiness, and after-hours coverage.
  • It works with the CIO and other technology teams to turn priorities into completed work.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop infrastructure staff through work assignments, feedback, cross-training, and development planning.
  • Configure, troubleshoot, review, and validate solutions across Azure, OCI, Windows and Linux, VMware, storage, networking, backup, and monitoring tools.
  • Lead or support high-risk changes, major incidents, service restoration, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
  • Work with the cybersecurity team to implement approved controls and address infrastructure-related findings.
  • Keep backup and disaster recovery procedures, diagrams, inventories, runbooks, standards, and support procedures current and tested.
  • Perform other related duties and support evolving organizational needs as assigned.
