About the role

The role oversees the infrastructure and platforms that applications and business operations depend on.
The position is responsible for daily service delivery, team performance, incident escalation, projects, documentation, operational readiness, and after-hours coverage.
It works with the CIO and other technology teams to turn priorities into completed work.

Lead and develop infrastructure staff through work assignments, feedback, cross-training, and development planning.
Configure, troubleshoot, review, and validate solutions across Azure, OCI, Windows and Linux, VMware, storage, networking, backup, and monitoring tools.
Lead or support high-risk changes, major incidents, service restoration, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
Work with the cybersecurity team to implement approved controls and address infrastructure-related findings.
Keep backup and disaster recovery procedures, diagrams, inventories, runbooks, standards, and support procedures current and tested.
Perform other related duties and support evolving organizational needs as assigned.

Manage staffing coverage, maintenance windows, after-hours support, and the infrastructure on-call rotation.
Monitor service health, incident trends, operational risks, and capacity, and raise significant issues to the CIO.
