About the role

  • In this role, you will take charge of construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.
  • This position is for a true leader who excels in independent thinking and thrives on solving complex challenges with creative, analytical solutions.
  • You will be the driving force on-site, managing everything from safety protocols and production to client relations and team leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and manage all field operations, with overall responsibility for safety, production, and quality.
  • Supervise all field personnel, providing leadership and training to develop a highly skilled workforce.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop project plans, manage budgets, and update schedules to meet key milestones.
  • Maintain essential field documentation, including daily reports, time recording, and safety inspections.
  • Martin Concrete Construction is searching for a dedicated and experienced Concrete Superintendent to lead their crew and build top-quality long-lasting structures.
  • An individual who takes pride in effective leadership and building long-lasting customer relationships.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Concrete Superintendent in commercial, industrial, tilt-up, or multi-story construction.
  • Proven ability to read and understand construction drawings.

  • TCA or ACI Certification
  • Bilingual abilities (English/Spanish)

  • Assertive and self-confident, with the persistence to see a project through to completion.
  • More focused on the "why" and "where" of a project than the minor details, delegating effectively while retaining responsibility.
