About the role
- Diagnoses and resolves product performance problems.
- Ensures customer satisfaction by advising customers on preventive maintenance and configurations, which may impact product performance.
- May have knowledge of third-party products.
Responsibilities
- Services & Support
- Delivers (does not design) fully integrated solutions, which may include peripherals, communications, operating systems and applications software.
- Installs and optimizes hardware/software/network products and configurations at customer sites.
- Performs maintenance and repair services.
- Serves as an internal resource on technical issues and manages product escalations Collaborates with Agilent teams such as Support, Sales, Marketing and R&D to provide solutions to customers.
- May deliver internal technical training and maintenance seminars and workshops for field engineers or customers.
- May qualify leads.
Requirements
- Bachelors or Master Degree in chemistry, biochemistry, analytical chemistry or other life science field required
- 2+ years relevant work experience including familiarity with analytical instrumentation, automation and dissolution
- Ability to work through complex repairs, installations, and scheduled services (PM/OQ) in a customer facing capacity
- Ability to solve, high impact problems related to product availability
- Must be available to travel overnight up to 75% of the time
- A valid driver's license is required for this role

Compensation
- The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $46.13 - $72.08/hr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits.
