Responsibilities
- Support the assessment, management and resolution of consumer claims and other disputes, including risk analysis and coordination with internal stakeholders. Develop pre-litigation strategies and retain and manage external counsel when appropriate
- Support compliance with applicable Canadian privacy laws, including PIPEDA and Quebec's Law 25, in connection with customer delivery data, real-time tracking systems and other personal information
- Manage matters assigned to external law firms across the jurisdictions in which we operate, including defining mandates, monitoring progress and budgets and coordinating advice with internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with other members of the Legal Affairs team to deliver coordinated support to internal business teams and improve legal processes, including precedent management, automation and the implementation of AI tools

- As Senior Legal Counsel on Intelcom's Legal Team, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders across the business and serve as a strategic legal partner to our international fast-paced last-mile logistics operations.
- You will lead the review and negotiation of high-volume commercial agreements, support the management of our data privacy and cybersecurity framework, and advise on pre-litigation matters and dispute resolution.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) or Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree;
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to adopt and use new technologies, including AI tools;
- Full professional proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written.
- Membership in good standing with the Barreau du Québec or the law society of another Canadian province
- At least five years of relevant experience gained in a law firm or corporate legal department
- Strong business acumen and a client-focused, business-partner mindset, with the ability to collaborate effectively and build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Ability to work independently across a variety of legal matters, perform effectively under pressure and manage multiple competing priorities
- Sound judgment, confidence and a consistently professional approach
