About the role
- Be able to promote a positive team environment and be highly motivated with strong interpersonal skills.
- This position is on 2nd shift, with some overlap on 1st and 3rd shifts at times based on business needs.
Responsibilities
- Reporting to the COLUMBIA Director of Operations, this Operations Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of trade operations within the South Yard Assembly Building at the Groton facility on off shifts.
- Drive increases in productivity as measured by increased Work Order attainment, earnings, and work product completion.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement efforts to support program goals on off shift.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED 8+ years of trades or shipbuilding experience 4+ years of Trades Supervisory/Management experience Ability to obtain and maintain secret security clearance through the Department of
