Responsibilities
- Adhere to the standard of care defined by UAMS, ANA, and Standards for specialty patient population with support and mentoring by other team members.
- Collects and documents assessment data.
- Administers medication per standard including drug information to patients/families. Acts as a resource/supports others.
- Delivers patient care using the principles of the defined nursing modality.
- Perform any other duties assigned.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program with Associates Degree, Nursing Diploma, Bachelors in Nursing, or Master's in Nursing.
- 1 year of Registered Nursing experience.

- Required:
- Valid RN License.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong work ethics and accountability.
- Preferred:
- BSN or MSN
- Additional Information:
Nice to have
- 2 or more years of nursing experience with a minimum of 1 year in an acute care setting such as a teaching hospital.
- 1 year or more of Oncology RN experience.
- National Certification.
Skills
- The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care to assigned patients in Medical Oncology/Family Medicine (H7).
- This area also provides learning opportunities in all areas of medical-surgical nursing.
