About the role
- SUMMARY The Brooklyn Nets Group Sales team is comprised of hard-working, high motor professionals focused on driving value through group events to companies, organizations, and individuals in the tristate area.
- The Travel & Tourism Account Executive is responsible for generating new business and growing strategic relationships across the global travel and tourism marketplace.
- The Account Executive, Travel & Tourism Group Sales will report to the Director of Group Sales.
Responsibilities
- Build long-term relationships and sell directly, including but not limited to Online Travel Agencies (OTAs), Receptive Tour Operators, International Tour Operators, Travel Agencies, Destination Management Companies (DMCs), Convention & Visitors Bureaus & Hotel Concierge Programs
- This role will focus on developing and managing accounts across Latin America & the Caribbean and the Asia-Pacific region, while supporting additional territories and strategic opportunities as needed.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure exceptional client experiences before, during, and after each event.
Requirements
- Attend games and events as required of the position
Nice to have
- 2-5 years of experience working in sales, preferably either in ticket sales for a professional sports franchise, or travel attraction.
- Prior travel & tourism industry experience preferred but not required
- Demonstrated track record of successfully achieving revenue targets
- Outstanding customer service, excellent communication <span

- This role is expected to be onsite for a variety of events, including all Brooklyn Nets home games; this position is required to work hours on nights, holidays and weekends as needed.
