About the role

- This is an entry level engineering position within Duke Energy's Engineering job hierarchy.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day operational and maintenance support of the station's Power Block.
- Develop preventive maintenance and outage plans, update procedures and technical documents.
- Identify and manage O&M and capital project scopes.
- Provide engineering analysis, troubleshooting, and technical support.
Requirements
- Must have obtained Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET accredited program
- A Master's degree in Engineering will be considered in lieu of the B.S. Engineering degree
- familiarity with GE turbines/HRSGs
- Ability to review specs/drawings
- Valid Drivers License required
- Required to wear personal protective equipment (hardhat, safety glasses, appropriate clothing, ear plugs, fall protection, etc.), as needed
- Ability to lift 25
Compensation
- $25k-$75k
