About the role
- We are seeking a highly motivated Shipping and Receiving Technician to join our Operations team.
- A qualified candidate is responsible for packing and shipping customer orders, receiving incoming materials including managing inventory.
- Fill customer orders per standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming raw materials per SOPs. Document daily receiving log.
- Assist in organizing warehouse inventory and routine inventory counts. Maintain good records of warehouse activities. Apply applicable labels to the inventory items in the warehouse.
- Maintain and organize adequate shipping supplies.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment in Shipping/Receiving area.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED with 4+ years' experience in Shipping/Receiving.
- Experience working with major shippers: FedEx, UPS and DHL highly desired.
- Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Good understanding of warehouse management procedures.
- Detail-oriented, efficient and a team player.
- Computer literate. Proficient with MS Office/Windows.
- Available to work extended hours.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- The base salary range for this full-time position is $25/hour - $30/hour + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The ranges displayed on each job posting reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries but are subject to change if the leveling of the role is adjusted.
