Responsibilities

Gathering, analyzing, and disseminating market, sector and security information that identifies or creates actionable investment opportunities.
Developing and enhancing over time an in-depth understanding of the investment philosophies and strategies of our portfolio managers, strategists, and analysts.
In support of this commitment, our employees work from our offices 4 days a week with flexibility to work remotely 1 day a week.

Requirements

Have a minimum of 3 years' relevant trading experience.
Experience trading a wide array of instruments would be additive.
Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Demonstrate a high degree of accuracy in his/her work.
Strong analytical skills and an ability to apply those skills in a highly practical fashion.
Impeccable integrity, fiduciary mindset, and ability to consistently place the interests of our clients as the number one priority.
A pro-technology mindset and the ability to leverage technology to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
Strong interpersonal skills and experience in a collaborative, team-based, results-oriented environment.
Strong academic credentials: Undergraduate degree is required
Undergraduate degree is required; MBA/CFA would be viewed favorably.
A successful candidate should have the following qualifications:

Strong quantitative skills, programming experience would be additive.

Compensation

USD 120,000 - 225,000 This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; role; skills and experience; certifications; and education.
This range is an estimate, and further details on salary and total compensation aspects will be shared with candidates during the recruitment process.
Base salary is only one component of Wellington's total compensation approach.

Benefits

We are seeking to hire a US, Equity Trader to execute orders from portfolio managers and analysts across our US book of business, to include cash and derivatives across local and external markets.
Executing equity transactions, using a mixture of high-touch and low-touch execution methods, for all relevant accounts under management.
Other rewards may include a discretionary Corporate Bonus and/ or Incentives, if eligible.
