About the role
- Complete requests within authority level
- Assign matter numbers to case, in preparation for billing/payment.
- Contact outside vendors (e.g., Repo agents, Auctions) to gather and/or provide information on accounts.
Responsibilities
- Creates payment coupons and G/L tickets from auction proceeds/insurance payments. Assign matter numbers to case, in preparation for billing/payment.
- Perform various functions in Repossession and Remarketing operations
- Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
- Perform data-entry of various types of information, and from multiple sources (e.g., invoices); receive and verify accuracy of documents
- Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
Requirements
- Knowledge of M&T Bank systems.
- Bachelor's degree.
Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient PC skills including word processing, spreadsheet and email software.
Compensation
- M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees.
- The pay range for this position is $18.68 - $31.14 Hourly (USD).
- The successful candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
