About the role

  • We want our students to demonstrate the fruits of the Spirits wherever called by God to serve.
  • As a School Bus Driver, you will be responsible for transporting students to and from school and extracurricular events, following a scheduled route and ensuring the safety of all passengers.
  • Your duties will include conducting pre-trip inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition, observing safety and traffic rules during the journey, and maintaining order and discipline among students on the bus.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean and mechanically sound bus at all times
  • Discipline children as needed to maintain a safe environment
  • Perform inspections of the bus before and after each route
  • Our employees' highest priority is to support the work in our schools every day.

Requirements

  • Between 25-65 years old
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 6+ years driving on the road
  • Attend safety meetings as required
  • A valid driver's License
  • A valid CDL (Or willing to obtain - FBCS covers Class B CDL costs)
  • Able to occasionally lift 50 lbs
  • Willingness to submit to random drug screening
