About the role

  • As an Associate Cloud Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for working in a team-based environment supporting our customers running workloads in the public cloud.
  • The essential functions of this position include:

Responsibilities

  • Support and maintenance of Azure production environments
  • Support of systems for metrics, logging, and monitoring on Azure platform.
  • While performing this role, you will engage in both seated and occasional standing or walking activities. We provide reasonable accommodations, in accordance with relevant laws, to support success in this position.
  • You will work in conjunction with your team to foster heightened customer experience and drive technical innovation in the managed services practice.

Requirements

  • Ability to troubleshoot complex, interdisciplinary public cloud technical issues
  • Ability to work in a diverse and geographically dispersed team environment with multiple engineering resources of varying skillsets and responsibilities
  • Experience working in CI/CD pipelines to include tools such as Azure DevOps
  • Knowledge of operating system administration to include Linux and Windows
  • Experience with application load testing and quality assurance activities
  • 1+ years of experience in deploying and supporting complex datacenter and/or public cloud environments
  • Experience supporting customers deploying workloads in the public cloud
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work with a wide range of Customers across different verticals
  • Familiar with cloud networking constructs such as Expressroute and VNETs
  • Microsoft technologies to include Active Directory, SQL, Patch Management, Certificate Services, Cloud Identity to include Active Directory and Azure Active Directory
  • Cloud Security services to include Defender for Cloud, Key Vault, Azure Firewall, Azure WAF
  • Kubernetes systems administration
  • Position Specifics

  • Entry level public cloud related certification preferred

Compensation

  • The initial base salary range for this position is expected to be between $65,000 and $90,000 annually.
