About the role
- They assist residents to and from the activities and events and during the event in such a manner that the resident is engaged to the fullest extent they desire.
- They work one-on-one with residents and their families to complete Life Enrichment assessments to plan for and provide the highest practicable level of psychosocial well-being - especially as it relates to social and recreational needs.
Responsibilities
- Plans and leads activities and events for residents in skilled nursing facilities.
- Will perform all job duties or job tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent, required.
- CNA Certification required or obtained within 3 months of employment.
- Demonstrates the ability to deal with pressure to meet deadlines, to be accurate, and to handle constantly changing situations.
Nice to have
- CNA Experience preferred.
- 3 to 5 years' experience as an Activities Aide or Social Services Designee in Long Term Care, preferred.
