About the role

Panelmatic is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Supplier Quality Engineer.
This role focuses on supplier selection and approval, audits, re-evaluation, continuous quality improvement, and root-cause corrective actions.
Job Duties: Selection, evaluation, approval and ongoing performance evaluation of suppliers.

Lead root cause analysis and corrective action activities for supplier-related nonconformances.
Support incoming inspection activities and disposition of nonconforming materials.
Collaborate with engineering and sourcing teams during new product introductions and supplier selection.
Track supplier quality metrics and drive continuous improvement projects.
The Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) is responsible for ensuring that external suppliers deliver components, materials, and assemblies that meet quality, safety, and performance standards.

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field.
3+ years of experience in quality engineering, preferably supplier quality.
Experience conducting supplier audits and root cause investigations.
Familiarity with quality tools such as FMEA, 8D, Root Cause Analysis, and Six Sigma methodologies.
Experience with ISO-9001 quality management systems (QMS).
Computer literate and experience working with ERP systems.
Ability to pass physical, drug, driving, and background check required.
Alignment with company core values required.
