About the role
- This position is responsible for ensuring inventory integrity, maintaining accurate ERP records, supporting production readiness, and leading a team of inventory professionals in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and perform root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
- Review cycle count results and implement corrective actions for inventory variances.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory management and warehouse efficiency.
- Lead, coach, and develop Material Handlers.
- Maintain KPI dashboards.
- Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in inventory management, supply chain operations, warehouse operations, manufacturing operations, or logistics.
- Ability to travel periodically between operational sites as required.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control principles, cycle counting, and warehouse operations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work in warehouse, manufacturing, and industrial operational environments.
- Ability to regularly walk warehouse floors and oversee receiving dock operations.
- Ability to work in fast-paced production and industrial environments with varying operational demands.
- Education
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and relevant operational leadership experience may be considered.
- Experience
- 2+ years of leadership experience managing inventory control, inventory planning, warehouse inventory, or supply chain teams.
- Experience using ERP/MRP systems for inventory management.
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
Nice to have
- Experience working within aerospace, satellite manufacturing, automotive, electronics, defense, semiconductor, or advanced manufacturing environments.
- Experience managing inventory to include high-value, serialized, and lot-controlled components.
- Experience supporting lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong leadership and team development capabilities.

- Strong problem-solving and process improvement mindset.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
