- The Revenue Accountant is responsible for analyzing oil and gas revenue and ownership to ensure accurate and timely disbursement to interest owners.
Responsibilities
- Use purchaser statements & check details received from Purchaser and/or other Operators to create uploads directly into Accounting Software (SAP)
- Use volumes and contractual rates to create uploads directly into Accounting Software (SAP)
- Perform various ad hoc projects as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (BBA or BS) in Accounting
- Minimum of Three (3+) years of experience in oil & gas accounting
- Demonstrated experience in MS Excel, including skills creating and configuring VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and Sum IF formulas
Nice to have
- Experience working within the PRA module of SAP
- Examples of suggested and implemented process improvements to increase efficiency
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail with ability to quickly pick up on new concepts
