About the role
- About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Outdoor Recreation Center on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, AK.
- This a Regular Full-Time position.Regular Full-Time employees have a regular and continuous work schedule of at least 35 hours to a maximum of 40 hours per week.

Requirements
- Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional
- Qualifying Experience: Must have experience in the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of outboard boat motors and gasoline motor malfunctions.
- This experience must have provided a thorough knowledge of and the ability to test and troubleshoot components and systems to locate marine equipment defects; interpret and apply manufacturer's repair manuals and technical specifications, schematics, diagnostic codes, and safety manuals; operate electronic test equipment.
Nice to have
- Must have experience in the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of outboard boat motors and gasoline motor malfunctions.
- This experience must have provided a thorough knowledge of and the ability to test and troubleshoot components and systems to locate marine equipment defects

- Experience in the maintenance, repair, and overhaul snow machines, travel trailers, ATVs and motor vehicles is preferred.
- Must be physically able to frequently lift, handle and carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds, and with assistance, objects up to and over 50 pounds.
- Must be able to frequently stand, bend, stoop, crawl, and work in tight spaces for long periods of time.
