About the role

  • As a Procurement Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the Procurement Manager in overseeing all procurement and purchasing activities across Bronte's project portfolio.
  • We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills and a collaborative mindset to contribute to our team's success.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Procurement Manager in managing daily procurement and purchasing tasks, including assisting with staff coordination and performance evaluations as needed
  • Help maintain the master subcontractor and supplier list (Approved Vendor List), ensuring information is up-to-date and accessible
  • Collaborate with Estimating and Operations teams to support bidding strategies, competitive bid assemblies, and proposal documentation
  • Support the bid, negotiation, and award processes by preparing documentation, receiving bids, and assisting in scope review meetings
  • Draft Purchase Orders in Jonas and maintain procurement records in Smartsheets for transparency and audit readiness
  • Assist in preparing and issuing subcontracts, tracking the completion of project-specific items, and ensuring timely execution of necessary documents
  • Maintain organized records of insurance certificates, bonds, and other relevant compliance documentation
  • Support the review and analysis of Capital Project tenders and contract documents to ensure appropriate contractual clauses are applied
  • Identify potential procurement risks and report findings to the Procurement Manager to develop mitigation strategies
  • Support project teams with documenting, evaluating, and processing change requests as directed

Requirements

  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain coordination, preferably within construction or the ICI sector
  • Familiarity with procurement software systems (e.g., Jonas, Smartsheets) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must have excellent organizational, administrative, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Must have excellent Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision
