About the role
- The testing is used by healthcare professionals to obtain objective information about patients' recent use of prescription medications and/or illicit drugs and helps monitor the effectiveness of treatment plans.
- The Research & Development Scientist / Sr.
- Assay Optimization and Continuous Improvement Evaluate and improve existing LC-MS/MS methods and related workflows supporting toxicology testing (including sample preparation and chromatography).
Responsibilities
- This position combines strong scientific judgment with hands-on laboratory execution to deliver robust, scalable methods that can be implemented in a regulated clinical laboratory environment.
- Drive enhancements in method performance (accuracy, precision, sensitivity/specificity, reportable range), turnaround time, and cost.
- Collaborate with internal partners (Operations, QA/QC, and other stakeholders) to support implementation planning and go-live readiness.
- Provide advanced problem-solving support for complex method performance issues, investigations, and corrective actions.
Compensation
- $115,000 - $135,000 /yr.
- Salary offered is dependent on qualifications, experience, and geographical location.
