About the role

  • Revvity Omics, a division of Revvity, is a clinical molecular and biochemical laboratory offering a variety of different screening and diagnostic testing options.
  • From prenatal screening before birth to newborn screening shortly after birth and whole genome sequencing through one's lifetime.

Responsibilities

  • Performs clinical testing according to standard operating procedures, related to specimen handling, processing, and test analyses.
  • Performs general laboratory duties such as glassware cleaning, reagent making, etc.
  • Verifies proper instrument function by checking and calibrating laboratory instruments and documents data.
  • Maintains legible work records.
  • Adheres to the laboratory's quality control policies and document all quality control activities.
  • Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
  • Performs all job duties in a manner consistent with, laboratory, CLIA, CAP and local regulations.

Requirements

  • Weekend rotation may be required.
  • Travel is not required.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use a keyboard, type, and occasionally stand and move to other parts of the lab.
  • Must have manual dexterity to use lab equipment.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Prepares and properly labels reagents required for laboratory testing.
  • Maintains records that demonstrate that proficiency testing samples are tested in the same manner as patient specimens.

Compensation

  • The base salary range for this full-time position is $27/hr.
  • Please note that base pay is only one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range.
