About the role

- About You You are an experienced Manager, accounting professional who thrives in a fast-moving environment where accuracy and ownership go hand in hand.
- You bring at least five years of progressive accounting experience and know your way around the full close cycle - from ledger entries to financial statements.
Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process, ensuring accuracy and on-time delivery across all reporting cycles
- Own the general ledger - maintaining the system, reviewing journal entries, and ensuring reconciliations are complete and correct
- Develop and enforce internal financial controls and procedures that keep AppDirect audit-ready year-round
- Partner with the external audit team annually, coordinating documentation and responses across the finance function
- Manage and grow a team of at least two direct reports, providing coaching, feedback, and clear direction on priorities
- Support acquisition-related financial integrations as they arise, working cross-functionally to ensure a smooth transition
- Support multinational foreign entities and assist with financial consolidation processes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including exposure to full-cycle close and financial reporting
- 2+ years managing direct reports in an accounting or finance function
- Experience with mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and acquisitions is considered an asset.
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite or a comparable enterprise ERP system
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- CPA designation preferred
Compensation
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, supporting investor reporting as needed
