Responsibilities
- Deliver rigorous, standards-aligned mathematics instruction aligned with AMS curriculum frameworks
- Differentiate instruction to support students performing above and below grade level
- Develop students' mathematical reasoning, problem-solving, and analytical thinking skills
- Classroom Culture & Student Support
- Establish and maintain a structured, positive, and high-expectations classroom environment
- Implement PBIS and preventative intervention strategies
- Support students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development
- Collaborate with grade-level teams and instructional leaders to strengthen instructional practices
- Lead parent-teacher conferences and maintain strong home-school partnerships
- AMS is seeking a passionate and data-driven Middle School Math Teacher to deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction that develops students' mathematical reasoning, problem-solving abilities, and analytical thinking skills.

- Minimum Qualifications
Nice to have
- Previous middle school mathematics teaching experience
- Experience working in Title I or high-need school environments
- Experience supporting English Language Learners
- Bilingual (Spanish-English) preferred
- Professional development and instructional coaching

Compensation
- Range: $54,000 - $60,813 annually (DOE)
