About the role

  • Lasko Products, a market leader in home comfort products for over 100 years, is looking to add a highly motivated and detailed-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to our light manufacturing facility in Franklin, TN.
  • The Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for monitoring and managing inventory levels, ensuring accuracy, and implementing process improvements.
  • This role is vital in maintaining inventory accuracy, reducing carrying costs, and supporting the company's overall production and distribution objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements related to inventory control and develop and implement solutions.
  • Lead and perform regular inventory reconciliations to identify discrepancies and implement correct actions
  • Determine and implement processes around material movement within the organization
  • Utilize historical data and demand forecasting techniques to optimize inventory levels and reorder points
  • Manage a team of 5 cycle counters
  • The Inventory Control Specialist will help us maintain efficient inventory management practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in inventory management and control, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
