About the role
- A Polysomnographic Technician can provide oversight of a Polysomnographic Trainee.
- This is a technical position functioning independently with limited supervision.
- Internal contacts are basically within the work group but may include patient care staff and management throughout the Medical Center.

- Minimum one (1) year polysomnographic technology experience (preferred)

- Successful completion of an accredited (CAAHEP preferred) educational program leading to an associate degree with emphasis in polysomnography
- OR successful completion of a polysomnography program of no less than one year duration associated with a state licensed and/or nationally accredited (CAAHEP preferred) educational facility
- OR successful completion of an American Academy of Sleep Medicine A-STEP accredited educational program leading to a certificate in polysomnography
