About the role

A Polysomnographic Technician can provide oversight of a Polysomnographic Trainee.
This is a technical position functioning independently with limited supervision.
Internal contacts are basically within the work group but may include patient care staff and management throughout the Medical Center.

Successful completion of an accredited (CAAHEP preferred) educational program leading to an associate degree with emphasis in polysomnography
OR successful completion of a polysomnography program of no less than one year duration associated with a state licensed and/or nationally accredited (CAAHEP preferred) educational facility
OR successful completion of an American Academy of Sleep Medicine A-STEP accredited educational program leading to a certificate in polysomnography
