The Assistant Superintendent participates in overseeing job site safety, quality, project scheduling, and communications with the architect and consultants on field and constructability issues.

Establishes and maintains positive and effective relationships and communication with the client, construction manager, project team, consultants/architect/engineers, subcontractors, adjacent communities, and governmental agencies.
Participates in the review of project documents for constructability and content including shop drawings.
Assists in coordinating building inspections, subcontractor inspections, and agencies.
In collaboration with the Superintendent, performs daily job site walks and submits daily safety audit reports.
Our Atlanta office serves as a core regional hub for BRPH's architecture, engineering, and interior design team.
Primary responsibility is to support the Superintendent and Project Manager in the successful completion of assigned projects.

Ability to navigate and move around the construction site, which may involve walking, climbing ladders and scaffolding, and standing for extended periods on uneven surfaces.
Ability to lift to 50 pounds.
Ability to operate a motor vehicle.
Ability to stand and sit for periods longer than 30 minutes but not to exceed two hours consecutively.
Ability to print and draw letters, numbers, words, characters, and symbols that are legible and understood by others.
Ability to learn complex tasks and remember how to complete tasks without assistance once trained.
Quick thinking and decision-making ability to address issues and challenges that may arise during construction.
Strict adherence to safety protocols and the ability to enforce safety standards on the construction site.
Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the construction industry.
Must have a general understanding of the construction industry, job site safety requirements, planning, building trades, sequence of work, and relevant technology.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
