Responsibilities

  • Drive safety awareness and engagement throughout the plant organization
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive skills matrices (element trees) for each department and position
  • Create training materials including One Point Lessons, Work Instructions, and multimedia resources
  • Design and implement competency frameworks aligned with operational requirements
  • Report training analytics and collaborate with department leaders on progress
  • Lead new employee onboarding and conduct comprehensive skills assessments
  • Provide ongoing coaching and support to associates at various skill levels
  • Support plant-wide improvement projects and initiatives through targeted training
  • Decision-Making Authority: Training program development, curriculum design, and competency assessments

Requirements

  • Software & Systems Proficiency
  • Microsoft Office Suite: Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Nice to have

  • High School diploma OR equivalent experience
  • Proficient formal or informal training experience preferred
  • Expert-level knowledge in manufacturing processes

  • Capability to assess departmental skills and knowledge needs
  • Training Delivery: Strong presentation and facilitation skills for diverse audiences
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Effective communication with Plant Leadership, Operations, HR, and supervisors
