About the role
- T he HSE Coordinator will be responsible to assist with the development, implementation, and maintenance of York Construction's health and safety policies and procedures in compliance with applicable legislation and industry standards & best practices.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with site supervisors to ensure that safety protocols and procedures are followed diligently
- Ensure that all workers are equipped with the necessary knowledge and tools to maintain a safe work environment
- Implement corrective actions and provide recommendations to prevent the recurrence of incidents
Requirements
- Prepare and submit comprehensive reports to the HSE Manager as required
- The ability to walk long distances over uneven terrain as required by the nature of the work.
- National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) required
