Responsibilities
- Build scalable programs that support both immediate assistance and long-term community partnerships.
- Lead discussions regarding funding requests, beneficiary selection, volunteer opportunities, and charitable initiatives.
- Document decisions, action items, and program outcomes.
- Build trusted relationships with residents and team members alike.
- Lead the planning and execution of Hillpointe Helps initiatives from concept through completion.
- Manage multiple charitable projects simultaneously across multiple states and communities.
- Develop project timelines, assign responsibilities, monitor progress, and ensure successful execution.
- Manage confidential information with professionalism, discretion, and empathy.
- Maintain organized records of applications, approvals, project status, and program outcomes.
- Hillpointe is a fully integrated real estate development and investment management firm focused on developing market-rate workforce housing across the Sun Belt.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Communications, Public Administration, Social Work, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in nonprofit leadership, corporate social responsibility, community engagement, philanthropy, or project management.
- Experience facilitating meetings and leading committees.
- Ability to travel periodically to Hillpointe communities
- Experience managing charitable giving programs or corporate foundations.
- Familiarity with affordable housing, multifamily housing, or community development.
- Experience measuring social impact and program outcomes.
- Required
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage highly confidential and emotionally sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.
- Preferred
- Volunteer management experience.
- Grantmaking or nonprofit board experience.
