Responsibilities

  • Duties include developing, maintaining, and improving Kelco's quality standards and testing systems to reflect efficiency, reliability, and performance.
  • This role partners with production and engineering teams to identify opportunities for process improvement, reduce defects, and support our overall manufacturing performance.
  • Essential Functions Support a safe work environment and follow Kelco safety policies and procedures.
  • Serve as an APQP team member and support the development and maintenance of Control Plans, PFMEA, Process Flow Diagrams, Floor Layout, Capability Studies, Gage R&R, SPC, IMDS, and Dimensional Layouts.
  • Implement and maintain quality systems and procedures to ensure conformity, consistency, compliance, and accuracy in the production process.
  • Develop, maintain, and update First Article Inspections (FAIs) and associated quality documentation.
  • Develop and implement inspection methods and testing procedures to evaluate product quality and conformance.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and relevant teams and departments to evaluate and improve product quality and manufacturing processes.
  • Investigate quality concerns and lead or support both root cause analysis and corrective actions to resolve identified issues and prevent recurrence.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve product quality, efficiency, and overall manufacturing performance.

Requirements

  • Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or 5 years related experience preferred.

Compensation

  • Starting at 70,000.00 USD
