About the role

  • The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee day-to-day maintenance operations, including equipment maintenance and repair, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Assigning preventative maintenance using an automated CMMS and maintaining asset inventory for production equipment, including general operations of TAS equipment and vehicles.

Responsibilities

  • Create work schedules to ensure equipment is properly maintained.
  • Create work orders using CMMS.
  • Perform periodic reports, keep records, and evaluate employee performance.
  • The supervisor will also manage a team of maintenance personnel, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety standards.
  • The Maintenance Supervisor will also maintain shop organization, assess department tool needs, maintain equipment manuals, and ensure sufficient spare parts are available for all critical equipment.

Requirements

  • Five years of related experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Must have a good command of the English language, both written and verbal
  • Regularly required to sit, stand or walk, bend and reach, occasional climbing of stairs, steps, ladders
  • The use of PPE is required.
  • Ability to stand up to 10 hours a day (with a lunch in between) and up to 6 days a week.

  • Experience in the technology or industrial sector is a plus
  • Knowledge of facilities management practices and techniques. Basic safety procedures, personnel management, and equal employment practices.
  • Must be an effective problem-solver.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and enforce safety regulations.
  • Availability to work overtime or outside normal schedule as required.
  • Organized, since this job entails making schedules and maintaining records.
  • An associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred
