About the role
- This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated accounting professional to contribute to a growing, multi-site organization by driving operational excellence, enhancing financial processes, and partnering with leaders across the business.
- Position Overview The Accounting Manager is responsible for day-to-day accounting for corporate operations and will report to the VP Corporate Controller.
Responsibilities
- Lead month-end and period-end close processes for corporate
- Administer and maintain Sage Accounting for the corporate general ledger
- Support ERP and systems improvements
- Support monthly consolidation process
- Assist with the year end audit and lead audit support for corporate related audit requests
- Partner with leadership to bring data-driven recommendations that improve the business
- Independently troubleshoot issues and develop solutions without waiting for direction

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field, required
- Certified Public Accountant, required
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a manufacturing environment, required
- Experience with month close for a multi-site entity
- Knowledge of US GAAP

- The Accounting Manager is also a key communicator across the organization, partnering with other site leaders in the finance team.
- Oversee the general ledger, accounts payable and fixed assets
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
- Review lease arrangements, determine accounting and ensure compliance with ASC 842, Leases
- Reconcile corporate bank accounts
- Reconcile corporate intercompany balances
