About the role
- The Accounting Manager - Client Advisory Services (CAS) is responsible for leading complex accounting engagements while serving as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients.
- This role combines technical accounting expertise, client relationship management, and team leadership to ensure the delivery of accurate financial reporting and exceptional client service.
- The Accounting Manager also mentors staff, oversees workflow, and contributes to the firm's continued growth and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while proactively managing expectations and identifying business needs.
- Lead client meetings and confidently present financial information and accounting recommendations.
- Supervise, mentor, coach, and develop staff and senior accountants.
- Lead workflow planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet client deadlines.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide regular feedback, and support employee development initiatives.
- Manage client billing, accounts receivable, and engagement profitability.
- Support business development initiatives by identifying opportunities to expand services with existing clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a public accounting firm.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
- Experience managing multiple client engagements simultaneously.
- Strong technical accounting and financial reporting expertise.
- Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.

- CPA license preferred
- EA designation or equivalent experience may be considered.
Compensation
- $115,000 - $130,000.
