Responsibilities

  • Provides case management support when needed including resource coordination and community referral.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or closely related degree program as approved by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences from an accredited college or university
  • Provides in-service presentations to staff as needed or required.
  • Provides community service information as an outreach worker such as required.

  • Ability to gather data to assess needs of patients and families.
  • determine the appropriate course of action in emergencies and other stressful situations.
  • Ability to provide written case narratives and reports.
  • Ability to work with multicultural groups.
  • Knowledge of and ability to apply effective psychiatric assessment, interviewing, and counseling techniques.
  • Knowledge of and ability to apply social work theories, principles and techniques.
  • Knowledge of needs, problems, attitudes, and behavior of hospital patients and their families.
  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus.

Compensation

  • Compensation is based on the level and requirements of the role.
  • Salary within our ranges may also be determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities, as required by the role, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
  • Typically, new team members join at the minimum to mid salary range.
  • Minimum to Midpoint Range (Hourly): $57.69 to $64.68
