About the role
- You'll move fast, ship UI-heavy features, and serve as the mobile payments authority on the team.
- Serve as the mobile payments domain expert
- Provide senior technical leadership on application architecture, code quality, and engineering best practices
Responsibilities
- You'll contribute across Cloaked's engineering org and help shape how we build on mobile at scale.
- Design, architect, and build privacy-first mobile applications across iOS
- Build and iterate rapidly on Cloaked Pay product screens to support experimentation and product-market fit
- Collaborate with design, backend, and product teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Implement new functionality and APIs, including REST and GraphQL integrations
- Build and maintain performant, declarative UIs using SwiftUI
- Develop and maintain iOS extensions and Safari extensions

Requirements
- Strong understanding of backend API integration (RESTful)
- Familiarity with iOS architecture patterns (MVVM, state observation, data flow)
- Experience with iOS Extension and Safari Extension development
- Hands-on experience with SwiftUI, Combine, and structured concurrency
- Deep knowledge of mobile databases: Core Data, Realm, SQL
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile development practices
- Experience with client-side payment systems

- Actively leverage AI tools in day-to-day engineering work
