  • The Security Manager is responsible for the day-to-day leadership, execution, and continuous improvement of the organization's cybersecurity program.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day security operations, ensuring policies and strategies set by senior leadership are implemented effectively across teams and systems.
  • Identify, assess, and track cyber risks; recommend and implement mitigations through technology, process, and policy changes.
  • Maintain and enforce information security policies, standards, and procedures; recommend updates based on operational realities.
  • Manage security monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, and threat intelligence functions, including coordinating with SOC/MSSP resources as applicable.
  • Lead execution of incident response plans for day-to-day and moderate-severity incidents; escalate and support leadership during major incidents.
  • Manage and optimize the organization's security tool stack (SIEM, EDR/endpoint protection, IAM, vulnerability scanners, and AI monitoring platforms like Harmonic and Weave), including licensing, integration, and vendor relationships.
  • Centerfield delivers outcome-based digital marketing solutions and personalized omnichannel experiences for the world's leading brands.
  • The Security Manager partners regularly with IT and engineering teams, compliance and legal, external vendors, and auditors.
  • They may support senior leadership during major security incidents or regulatory inquiries, but are not typically the primary executive spokesperson for the organization.
  • At Centerfield, we use AI tools internally to support efficiency and fairness in our hiring process, including resume screening and administrative tasks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field required.
  • Working knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks and industry standards.
  • Interviews will take place after resumes have been screened for the minimum requirements.

Nice to have

  • CISSP, CISM, Security+, GIAC, or other relevant certifications preferred.
  • Solid working knowledge of security technologies (firewalls, SIEM, IAM, endpoint protection), cloud security, and threat intelligence.
  • Familiarity with AI security/monitoring tools (e.g., Harmonic, Weave, or similar platforms) strongly preferred.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to translate technical issues for non-technical stakeholders.
