About the role
- Mars Fishcare- Packaging Machine Operator- Chalfont, PA
- Hourly rate based on experience starting at $24/hour +
- Shift: Monday- Thursday 5:30am- 4pm (10 hour shift)
Requirements
- Ability to work at elevated heights, climb stairs, lean over equipment, and operate in confined spaces.
- Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods, with shifts lasting 12 hours
Nice to have
- Previous manufacturing experience
- Knowledge of food safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP)
- Operational experience
- Packaging and/or process experience
- What will be my key responsibilities?
- Operate packaging equipment to complete the process and finished products for shipping, following all routine SOPs and specifications
- Comply with all area Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and safety procedures, including proper use of PPE and reporting safety hazards
- Starting Pay: Based on experience starting at $24/hour+
