About the role

  • This role requires close coordination with operations, subcontractors, and municipal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Prepare and monitor project budgets, cost forecasts, and resource allocations; communicate updates to stakeholders.
  • Liaise with municipal inspectors, engineers, subcontractors, and third-party stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Role and Responsibilities The Project Manager will plan, execute, and deliver CIPP (Cured-In-Place Pipe) watermain rehabilitation projects within defined deadlines, specifications, and budget.
  • Direct and manage project development from mobilization through to demobilization.
  • Identify and manage project dependencies, risks, and critical path items specific to trenchless rehabilitation work.
  • Proactively address changes in project scope, unforeseen site conditions, or utility conflicts, and develop contingency plans.
  • Deliver timely progress reports, project documentation, and status updates to internal teams and clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets, schedules, and multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements

  • University degree or college diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project) and construction management tools.
  • Must be able to travel throughout Ontario and occasionally to other regions as required.
